The need for mental health therapy in the wake of cancer has never been greater. Nearly 148,000 Texans were expected to be diagnosed with cancer in 2024, up 6.5% from 139,000 new cases diagnosed in 2023. With the increase in new cancer cases, Flatwater saw an unprecedented increase of new program participants, up 44% from 2023.
