Flatwater’s Dam That Cancer Presented by TYLER’S is the premier fundraising event for Flatwater.
MONDAY, June 30th, 2025
On Monday, June 30th, Lake Austin will provide the stunning backdrop for the 16th annual 21-mile stand-up paddle + party event. Each year we select a crew of 230 paddlers – each one handpicked from a list of hundreds of applicants. Past participants have included Olympic medalists such as Kristine Lilly, Aaron Peirsol, Trey Hardee, Eric Shanteau, and Brendan Hansen, as well as three-time Stanley Cup champion Chris Chelios, and influential Austin business owners, C-level executives, and cancer survivors. The common thread among all participants is to provide a ray of hope for people affected by cancer through the services of Flatwater.
The demand for therapy is greater than ever, and we're excited to match the success of our record-breaking 2024 event that raised over $1.4M for Flatwater. With your support, we are confident we can reach our goal of $1.4M again this year!
After the 10-hour, 21-mile paddle, all of Austin is invited to the DTC post-paddle party at the LCRA Redbud Center from 6-8PM – walking distance from the Hula Hut finish line.
