Stronger Together: Healing Cancer Care Through Partnership
Uniting medical centers, local non-profits, and community champions to ensure no one navigates cancer alone.
At Flatwater, we believe that comprehensive cancer care extends beyond physical treatment; it encompasses the mental and emotional well-being of everyone in the wake of cancer. But we can’t bridge this gap alone. Through strategic partnerships with healthcare leaders, non-profits, local businesses, and community advocates, we ensure that every individual and family across Central Texas has access to fully funded, specialized mental health therapy.
How We Connect & Collaborate
Tailored partnerships designed to meet individuals, couples, and families where they are.
Whether you are on the front lines of clinical care or driving impact through community engagement, there is a place for you to plug in and support our mission here at Flatwater. We work with two primary types of partners:
Formal Referral Partners
Established medical institutions and non-profits with a specialization in oncology that directly connect participants, caregivers, and families to our program.
community Partners
Allied non-profits, local businesses, and community organizations that amplify our mission through co-hosted events, cross-promotional outreach, sustained giving, and shared advocacy.
Our Formal Referral Partners
Connecting Central Texans impacted by cancer to essential mental health care at the point of need
Our Formal Referral Partners serve as vital lifelines for individuals, couples, and families navigating the overwhelming emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis. Through their dedicated oncology providers, social workers, child life specialists, and patient navigators, these leading medical institutions and healthcare non-profits identify patients, caregivers, and loved ones in need of support and seamlessly connect them directly to Flatwater. Together, we remove financial and logistical barriers to specialized therapy across Central Texas.

Beyond the Event: Partnering for Lasting Impact
Meaningful, year-round ways to stand with individuals, couples, and families impacted by cancer when they need it most.
A cancer diagnosis doesn’t follow a schedule, and neither does the need for mental health support. While our events bring the community together, our long-lasting impact happens every day in therapy sessions across Central Texas.
We invite businesses, non-profits, and local organizations to stand alongside Flatwater throughout the year—creating sustained, powerful change for families navigating a diagnosis.
Ways to Engage Outside of Events:
Cause-Marketing & Philanthropic Campaigns
Align your business with a purpose. Donate a percentage of sales through official “Give Back Days”, dedicate a seasonal promotion, or create a co-branded product where proceeds directly fund therapy sessions for families in need.
Employee Giving & Payroll Deductions
Empower your team to make a difference. Create and promote workplace giving programs, dollar-for-dollar company matching, or recurring internal campaigns that rally your staff around mental health and cancer care.
C0-hosted awareness initiatives
Join forces with us during key moments, like Mental Health Awareness Month or Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, to share life-changing mental health resources, raise awareness, and amplify our shared mission across your networks.
Corporate Philanthropy & Dedicated Grants
Invest directly in Central Texas families through grants, corporate gifts, or funding dedicated blocks of therapy sessions for those navigating cancer.
