Why give?
Cancer can happen to anyone — and its impact doesn't stop with the person diagnosed. It ripples out to spouses, kids, parents, caregivers and everyone who loves them. The financial toll is real too: when medical bills pile up and income takes a hit, mental health is often the first thing sacrificed, for the whole family. No matter who you are, a diagnosis can mean choosing between a therapy session and a grocery bill.
Flatwater exists to remove that financial barrier to care entirely. We cover 100% of the cost of therapy - up to 40 sessions per person - for individuals, couples, and families across Central Texas, no matter their circumstances, offering both traditional talk therapy and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to meet people where they are.
Since 2010, that's meant over 78,000 therapy sessions. Your gift makes sure the next person facing this doesn't have to face it alone, or afford it alone.
